It’s all about making memories………
Memories of fun times with friends and family are often our most treasured moments in life. Here at Chadwell Hill Farm we would like to help you create some new ones that will last a lifetime. We have got together with a number of partners to put on some amazing experiences or we can just suggest some great local adventures you can do as a group.
So how does it work?
Book a minimum of three rooms and up to four rooms, the shepherds hut and the bell tent to have exclusive use of Chadwell Hill Farm and select what you would like to do, then let us do the rest! Obviously experiences are based on availability from our partners, so the earlier we can book the better.
Wild foraging – a day or half day foraging with Totally Wild, one of the best foraging companies in the business and then cook up a feast with the amazing ingredients you have found. This is suitable for adults and children.
Sausage Making or Butchery skills, with one of our amazing butchers. Sausage making is a real laugh and you get to eat the results!
Cake decorating and baking - Why not challenge everyone to a Great British Bake Off, Cake decorating or baking with Tracey’s Cakes of Longwick or Pattiserie making, depending on your level of skill and ambition! We are happy to judge your soggy bottoms and layers and present a special Apron to the winner!
Floral displays - We can all generally put a few stems in a vase, but if you want to be truly inspired to create something outstanding from buttonholes to floral displays then Lisa Kent will share some of her wonderful skill and inspiration with you, from half a day to a two-day course.
Wine and cheese tasting, with our friends from No2 Pound Street. Explore some wonderful wines from around the world and delicious cheeses guided by the experts from this wonderful Deli and wine shop based in Wendover.
Bicester Village - Shopaholics can enjoy a trip to Bicester Village either by train or chauffeur driven car, plus you can book a personal shopper! Maybe follow up with a Gin Tasting experience for a great girly break.
Midsomer Murder Experience - You are right in the centre of Midsomer Country here, if you are fans let us put together an itinery of tours to discover some of the iconic filming sites in the area.
Chilterns Brewery - Brewery Tours and Curry. We are so lucky to have three incredible microbreweries in the area, including The Chiltern Brewery just down the road. Book tours and tastings at as many as you can muster, bring back some of your favourites to enjoy with a delicious curry from Rhaduni in the evening.
Of course you can just choose to explore the local area, on foot or by bike, chill out at Chadwell Hill Farm, maybe play a game of football or croquet on the lawn and just spend time together. For golf addicts we have some great courses in the area, Alan will be especially delighted to advise on this one!
In the evening enjoy a wonderful dinner around a big table in our guest dining room, reminiscing about the day, sharing stories and laughter. Or BBQ some of our home produced steaks on our garden fire pit.
This is your time, let us make it special. We would love to talk about your individual requirements and plan the perfect break for you, your friends and family. Some experiences allow for larger numbers so if you live locally you can put your friends and family up with us and come and join in all the activities and meals.
