The Buttercup Field

The Buttercup Field at Chadwell Hill Farm is a new, eco friendly, glamping site, with three furnished Bell Tents, on a small working farm in The Chilterns, Buckinghamshire.

This is the place to create magical memories with family and friends.

The cotton canvas bell tents are fully furnished featuring two single and a double bed, bedding and linen, storage, soft furnishings, lanterns and fitted core matting and rugs. A kitchen box with utensils, kettle, crockery and a camping gas ring plus a top of the range cool box (frozen blocks supplied throughout your stay).

Outside each tent you will find solar powered fairy lights, a picnic bench and a BBQ/ fire pit, for evenings round the campfire and a big cook up. Logs, firelighters and charcoal are available to purchase on site.

The Buttercup Field is 3 acres in size, so has lots of space for running about in, playing games and just enjoying yourselves. It is our favourite spot on the farm, with open countryside views and stunning sunsets. A true escape from it all. We welcome families, groups, dogs and horses to enjoy time spent on the farm and in the glorious Chilterns.

On site are echo showers and toilet, plus a kitchen sink so you don't need to pack one! All cleaned three times a day, so COVID secure. The site is car free, so when you arrive we will show you where to park and will take your luggage down to your tent on our quad bike. Your tent is just a short walk away. There is lots to do locally from walking and cycling to gruffalo hunting and farm visits, we are happy to make suggestions. The Chilterns are well known for farming and producing delicious food and drink and Chadwell Hill Farm is no exception. We can deliver food direct to your tent door, whether it is one of our Dexter Steaks for the BBQ or a fresh pint of milk in the morning, please see our larder menu. And if you don't want to cook you can book to have breakfast in the house and eat out in one of many great local venues.

We are now taking bookings for August 2021 so please call to book to avoid disappointment. Prices for a tent for 4 start from £80 per night. Minimum 3 night stay.

The site is a car free zone so when you arrive you park in the designated car park and we take your luggage down to the site in one of our farm vehicles, all adding to the fun and experience. Don’t worry we also deliver your luggage to your car at the end of your stay!

The Chilterns is an often overlooked holiday destination, with stunning countryside, pretty villages and market towns, abundance of wildlife (home of the stunning Red Kite), lovely pubs, farm shops, micro breweries and vineyards, National Trust properties and family attractions. Directly from the farm there is great walking and cycling and lovely farm shops and pubs just down the road, but we suspect you won’t want to leave the fabulous view!
